Watch Closely!

Ok I’ve got to admit its kinda tiring to write RTs in my blog, a lot of ideas zooming around in my head and too little butterfly nets to catch them all, but I found a common theme in both shows currently running now..

(and make good TV!)

If you didn’t recognize it by now, its the title of Lost 1×11; just some trivia there.

Anyway, with the latest episodes of both Heroes and Lost, we find out our characters are not really up and chummy with their dads, heres a run down of the 2 shows paternal problems… *SPOILERS AHEAD* (duh)…

Jaimes knows the winning fomulae for a winning show and proposes to Mediacorp to read his first draft of a potentially hit show “My Dad, the Tax-Collector”. On the clause that both Adrian Pang and Gurmit Singh will have nothing to do with the bloody show. Retire them already!

Lost

Jack : Father Christian has it going for him, can’t stand Jack overshadowing him as the better surgeon, basically conspired to taint Jack’s career.

Kate : She blew her foster dad up, hence thats why shes running from the law. Biological dad was in war in Iraq. Mum cannot forgive her for killing foster dad.

Sawyer : His family was scammed by the real ‘Sawyer’ aka Anthony Cooper, as a result his Dad shot his mum and then turned gun on himself.

Locke : Dad is Anthony Cooper who scammed him of his kidney and then later pushed him out of a building, resulting in Locke’s paralysis prior to the island.

Claire : Child of Christian Shepard and hence Jack’s half-sister (though they don’t know it yet), grew up with single-mum and now possibly is one herself too.

Charlie : Also grew up with single parent family, Dad ran away, possibly has daddy issues too cause his dad makes an appearance in the next episode (according to cast list).

Hurley: Dad came back only cause he wanted a share of Hurley’s lottery winnings. Left soon after.

Ben Linus : Dad hates him and blame him for his mum’s death (she died at childbirth). Ben kills off his dad and the rest of the Dharma folks when he grew older.

Heroes

Peter and Nathan : Although much hasn’t been said about Papa Petrelli, much has been hinted about him, especially about him being mentioned by Lindermann and their mum as a special being like them. Methinks next season we’ll finally know what happened to him

Hiro : Dad; played by George Takei (aka Sulu from Star Trek), wields a kickass sword next episode! Don’t miss out!

Mohinder : Dad is a leading geneticis, and though was at odds with Mo’ when he died; left his legacy in Mohinder as his blood is the cure to the mutant genome.

Sylar : Has issues, not with his dad, but with his mum. Wanted to believe he was special, much to his mum’s disapproval.

Claire : Real dad is Nathan; whos on the fence of good and evil. Foster dad is HRG, former shady agent of the goverment (or whatever) who just cares too much for her.
