Dug out my dusty PSP box today and look what I found.

“Surgeon General’s Warning:
Playing the Playstation® Portable may be Harzardous your Girlfriend/Wife.”
Crap. Should’ve have read that earlier. Now I’m in too deep.
On a more serious note, what has been taking up my time is both assignments (contrary to many people’s beliefs) and a neat new game I got (I use the word ‘got’ more liberally) called Tales of the World : Radiant Mythology.

Its been kickass so far, as the above screen shots will depict. Despite its cutesy outlook (on par with the Final Fantasy Series), I think what pulled me into playing the game for 35 game hours and counting is the bizarre inaneness of it all. I mean, never since World of Warcraft have I been so happy to fetch silver ore to a quest giver just for the sake of it! Somehow, the repetitiveness of questing (Please fetch *insert item here* to *insert patron/client here* -or- Kill *insert monster name here*) caught me in a viscous cycle of running back and forth from the town.
Part Monster Hunter and part Final Fantasy, you get to move around like you do in FF, but when the fight is initiated it becomes sorta like a fighting game on a 3d plane. Hard to really describe the combat, but it works.

I start off as a thief class, leveled to 49 (took me a week or so) now I just got my hunter to lvl 45 in 3 days (thanks to the brilliance of high level allies) with full RADIANT SET (OMG! Teh R like EPIC or smthIng!). You get a fuzzy feeling on the inside when you complete the armor set. I know I did.
Jaimes has his own Radiant Jaimes Set too.
I dusted off my own PSP box too, but I don’t see no funny quote there! It must be only that the PINK versions have it! GHEY.
Bandai/Namco RPG? Hmmm
